Business Development Manager - Scotland

I’m Will Ringham, and I have recently started working full-time for Wemyss as their Scottish BDM!

Some of you may have met me before, as I started working for WFS whilst at university. I was their Brand Ambassador, covering the East Neuk of Fife! I had a brilliant time engaging with customers and students, spreading the word about our fantastic range of spirits. Fast-forward to graduation, I was offered to stay on full-time. I couldn’t have been happier to stay at such a welcoming and exciting independent spirits firm. Now I have the joy of representing our products nationally!

I have always wanted to work in the whisky industry, being inspired by my family’s history as independent bottlers and blenders. Now part of such a fascinating industry, I love meeting new people and engaging with others who share the same genuine passion. In my experience, the drinks industry is collegiate in nature – everyone is willing to help each other for the greater goal of promoting our industry, which is truly unique.

 My favourite serve for summer is a classic Hive Ball – extremely refreshing! In winter, I love adding Bell Rock CS to an espresso martini!

 When it comes to what our best release has been, in my opinion The Falkland was a standout. More accessible, and up there with one of my favourite whiskies has to be Bell Rock Cask Strength!
